After 06.30pm, weekends and bank holidays, when the surgery is closed if you need a GP or some medical advice urgently please call 111 - when it's less urgent than 999.

111 replaces NHS Direct and any out of hours numbers - the only numbers you need now are 999 for emergency, the surgery numbers 08444773694/ 01422357333 and 111 for out of hours help.

Please note calls to these numbers are recorded. If your call is not urgent please ring us back when the surgery is open.

CHorne Street Health Centre NHS Walk-in-Centre (Park Community Practice )

You can also see a GP or Nurse practitioner for treatment of minor injuries and illnesses at Horne Street Health Centre NHS Walk-in Centre. You do not need an appointment. 

They are open from 8:00 to 18:00pm Weekends and Bank Holidays. 

NHS 111

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111, NHS 111 will assess you, provide advice and direct you straight away to the local service that can help you best. NHS111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and calls are free, including from mobiles.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
